NJSBN attended the recent “Powering the Future” event hosted by Jersey Renews. The conference’s theme iterated by keynote speaker Dan Fatton, the New Jersey Economic Development Agency’s Director of Clean Energy, was that “offshore wind is not dead.”

The comment’s broad thrust is to support the previous and proposed new RGGI investments, but to strongly oppose the ratepayer relief initiative that the NJBPU is strongly pushing for. These are high level comments but we have heard directly that it is crucial that there is broad pushback to this initiative from multiple different sectors.
